D’s
Today’s post is brought to you by the letter D …
It’s the last D is for DAY of January and I’ve been on a mission to kick-off this new year by giving this space a review and a refresh, rooted in reflection and renewed clarity.
I love January. Yes it’s foundational to who I am, since it’s when I was born…but it’s also very foundational to this brand, since it’s when we moved to this D is for DOWNTOWN space 4 years ago.
So I made the D is for DECISION to step into January by D is for DECLARING some new D is for DAY 1s. You’ve seen me do that over the last couple week with lots of look backs on this D is for DREAM. My plan all month was to wrap-up this look back by talking about the important amazing things that the D is for DOLLARS $13 and $33 memberships are D is for DOING within the Bird & Bear.
BUT January has flown by, and somehow we are at the last D is for DAY of the month. I’m blaming the back and forth to the D is for DENTIST with my kids for what has felt like 450 times in the last week, which has limited my time in the office this week.
While sitting at said D is for DENTIST yesterday, battling a D is for DOSE of entrepreneur stress for not meeting my goals, I said to myself, “Erin it is not big a D is for DEAL. You can wait to talk about it later.”
But THEN, on our way back to school (for the 450th time), while in the D is for DRIVE-THRU at D is for DUNKIN’ DONUTS the order on the screen was exactly $13.33 and it took my breath away. I believe it was a D is for DIVINE push to stop chickening out about talking about the D is for DOLLARS memberships.
I know the word “membership” is hard for many of you. I also NEVER EVER want you to think that “membership” is “required” at the Bird & Bear ~ NO WAY! But mostly I don’t talk about it as often because I needed to make sure we were D is for DOING it right.
We D is for DO. We are 100% D is for DOING it right, and I need to D is for DECLARE that the D is for $13 and $33 DOLLARS are DOING amazing and important things for Birds & Bear… and that you really should D is for DO it.
Okay I D is for DID it! I can DO hard things as I D is for DECLARE some new D is for DAY 1s. You can D is for DO it too.
