Ceramic Pressed Flower Plates

Celebrate the beauty of nature and the joy of handmade with an evening of clay and blooms.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll create a free-form ceramic plate using slab-building techniques. After rolling out your clay, you'll shape your plate organically and use fresh flowers and botanicals to press delicate textures and patterns into the surface, creating a one-of-a-kind piece inspired by nature.

You'll have the opportunity to personalize your plate with underglaze colours, allowing the impressions and details to come alive. Whether your style is simple and elegant or whimsical and colorful, each piece will become a beautiful reflection of the season and your own creativity.

No pottery experience is necessary. This workshop is designed to be relaxing, playful, and inspiring, a chance to slow down, connect with nature, and create something both beautiful and functional.

Once complete, your plate will be transported to my studio to dry and will be professionally clear glazed and kiln fired.

Finished pieces will be food-safe and ready for pickup at The Bird and Bear Collective.
