Around The Bonfire

Often when I kick-off a Bird & Bear event, or welcome you to the Bird & Bear space, I’ll tell you to imagine that we are gathered around a bonfire in the wilderness.

Each of us having traveled from our various space and places in the wild. Each carrying our own unique backpacks of belongings on our back, and the thoughts and feels that reside within the backpack of our head and heart.

I invite you to put down your backpack, as we each gather around the metaphorical bonfire under the twinkle lights in the Bird & Bear wilderness.

I’ll remind you that this is a space where we nest & rest, so that we can explore & soar ~ each in our own unique ways ~ and each in the midst of our own journey of braving the wilderness.

Sometimes there are actual bonfires by the barn in my backyard, and other times we ignite them on the tabletops in our workshop space behind the barn doors in our downtown space.

This is what this looked last week at the Bird & Bear. We are ignited with hearts are on fire and around the bonfire of this work we do together.
