Today we celebrated my son's completion of elementary school. He and his classmates are bound for Middle School. There were hugs, high-fives, photos and a few tears shared between those who were there.
There was also a list that his Principal shared with the students. 10 lessons derived from movies or books they've seen or read during their Elementary School days. I loved it so much and wanted to share it with you.
Sometimes listening is enough
(The Book with No Pictures)
You can find friends in unexpected places
(Hi Fly Guy)
Let your happiness shine
Be a ripple
Don't ever give up
Dream big dreams
(Olaf from Froze)
("This is Me" from The Greatest Showman)
Learn your measurements
(Mary Poppins Returns)
Don't let fear stop you from doing something
It's a such good list, right? Well, I think so...though Each Kindness is a new one for me, that I can't wait to read! If you had made this list, what books or movies would you have included?
